Jason Momoa's film has recorded outstanding performances in presale, indicating that it could give DC its biggest hit on the big screen since Wonder Woman. According to Entertainment Weekly, Andrews provided Karathen's voice; an underwater creature that plays a crucial role in Aquaman's story.

"We wanted the Karathen to have the voice of a classic British actress, even though it was slightly digitally altered," said producer Peter Safran.
"And when we found out that Julie was interested, available and excited to do it, throwing it was a no-brainer.

Dolph Lundgren, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Djimon Hounsou are also on board.
Momoa recently revealed that he had got the role by auditioning for Batman.
