Rose ceremonies on The single person are generally dramatic, but the Vietnamese version of the hit TV series has the surprise turn of the plot.
In a clip that has since been viral, the candidate Minh Thu was left without a pink from the Bachelor series, Quoc Trung.
But before leaving for good, she decided to stun everyone by professing her love to another competitor, Truc Nhu, and then convincing her to leave the show.
"Come home with me," said Minh Thu to Truc Nhu. If only other versions of The single person was it interesting?
Truc Nhu, who has a rose, then decides to give it to the Bachelor, Quoc Trung, before leaving with Minh Thu.
"I know you'll find someone who really loves you, who understands you, knows how to take care of you, who can look at you from afar and know how you feel, I'm sorry," said Truc Nhu.
It's certainly the first time we see anything like this happening on the dating show. In the Australian version of the TV series, two competitors met, but not before the end of the series.
The show did not last long, Truc Nhu finally deciding to stay on the show after being convinced by Quoc Trung to stay, according to Nextshark.
For a show that is normally pretty trashy and a refuge for ruthless straightness, this moment is welcome – even if it has not lasted long.
