Long Beach police on Friday investigated the actions of a shuttle driver supposed to take people to the Queen Mary "Dark Harbor" attraction, but drove them to Carson amid screaming protests from passengers, including one would have been hit the driver.

Other passengers told reporters that the driver refused to say anything and that he did not want to respond to protests from people asking him to stop the bus.
Several passengers called 911 and the police finally stopped the bus at Carson. The bus was supposed to travel only from Long Beach's overflow car park to the Queen Mary.
Initial reports indicated that the driver could be the subject of a charge of kidnapping, but police said Friday that this was not the case and that the investigation was taking place. focused only on an alleged physical altercation.
