217 Quarterback Brandon Rainey won yards on the ground in the Citadels' 42-27 win over Samford last week, including 207 in the second half. Rainey played in two games for the Bulldogs. He ran for 188 yards on his first start the previous week against Western Carolina.
237 Consecutive games were contested without being ruled out for Alabama, a school record. The last Alabama shutout loss was 9-0 at Auburn on November 18, 2000.
