At half-time Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium, The Citadel and No. 1 Alabama were tied at 10-10.

This is not a typo.

The Bulldogs, members of the subdivision of the Division I and Southern Conference football leagues, traveled 500 miles between Charleston and Tuscaloosa and had low tide at home.

Five different players ran the ball for The Citadel in the first 30 minutes of play, including Dante Smith, who became the first player to score against Alabama in November. The Bulldogs have not launched a single pass in the first two quarters.

Bulldogs players were not the only ones to have fun. The Citadel's Twitter account is perhaps the best performance of the day.

After Alabama boasted of "No score November" The citadel responded, and then took a shot at both Mississippi State and LSU.

The tide missed the kickoff to start the second half, and the Bulldogs failed to take the lead, missing a 45-yard placement.

Alabama ran 72 yards on the field, scoring in five games to regain the lead.

If the Citadel can not keep her close, it's fun all her life.
