Quentin Tarantino is busy doing Once upon a time in Hollywood for a release in 2019, but this time it is unlikely that it will appeal to the efforts of the veteran composer Ennio Morricone. Morricone scored The Hateful Eight In 2015, after working with Tarantino on some of his projects, he revealed during a recent interview with Playboy.de that he had no great thoughts for the American director. This is not the first time that Ennio Morricone has definite ideas about The Hateful Eight director. He had previously revealed that Quentin Tarantino had asked him to work on Basterds without glorybut that he was not interested because of the grueling schedule on which he had previously worked on projects like Kill Bill Vol. 1 and 2, films on which he won soundtrack credits. At the time, Tarantino had just chosen to use a song she had worked on before. Then Morricone changed his mind and again made music for The Hateful Eight. In fact, after the first comments, Morricone said that they had been taken out of context and that he had a "great respect" for Tarantino. So maybe he did not choose his words carefully this time?

Elsewhere in the December issue interview, he even qualifies the eminent Hollywood director as "trash". He also does not seem to have lost love for Hollywood and the United States in the interview, also noting that he does not miss his "self-inflated pomposites".
