While Affleck continues to struggle to stay sober after entering rehab on Aug. 22, ET learned that Damon remains a key supporter in his recovery.

Despite the fact that both of them had fun together during the day, a source said that Damon had stopped drinking with his boyfriend a long time ago, to avoid allowing it.

"When Matt and Ben were young, they loved to party together and have fun, but as soon as Matt realized that Ben had addiction problems, he was sure he did not allow it," said a source to ET. with Ben because he does not want to support another downward spiral.
