LANCASTER, Pa. – The arrest of a well-known DJ already has an impact on the entertainment industry of Central Pennsylvania.

The arrest of Raymond Rowe, 49, "DJ Freez," left many people worried about their wallet.

Rowe is incarcerated in Lancaster County Jail, without bail, in the 1990 murder of Christy Mirack, a 25-year-old Lancaster County teacher.

According to his company's website, Rowe has organized approximately 150 events a year throughout the region.

Other DJs in the area say they have received calls from concerned people, customers who have paid thousands of dollars to book it and do not know if they will get their money back.

These artists have mixed feelings too.

"Shock was the first, and then my immediate reaction was those poor wives, all I could think of was the wives," said Stefanie Feldmann, owner of J & S Events.

"I saw him at wedding shows with his wife and daughter, he seemed like a great guy, so we all have the same," holy bullshit "happening, and what are we all doing at from here? help this situation? said Matthew Bogner, co-owner of Mj Entertainment LLC.

Rowe has owned Freez Entertainment and played in weddings, schools, restaurants, clubs and other parties throughout Pennsylvania.

According to Bogner, Rowe needed to have some reservations.

"Your high-level DJs, and I know the story of DJ Freez, usually book 16 months, which can impact hundreds of people," Bogner said.

People who are now left are jostling because they do not know if they will get their money back.

"It affects the wives, it affects their families, the stress level of all those involved in the planning," added Feldmann.

Ms. Feldmann said that she planned to help anyone needing services on a tight budget.

"I just want brides to know if they have booked this company, and that they are panicking, if we have a date available, we are yours," she said.

Bogner has also promised to make your big day, whatever the cost.

"It's not about us, it's not about MJ Entertainment, we just want to help brides," he said.

FOX43 tried to contact Freez Entertainment to find out if people would get their money back, but the company's voicemail box is full and the social media pages have been removed.

For more information on J & S Events, visit the company's website or call 443-987-3190.

Feldmann says they offer packages under $ 1,000.

Bogner says they have a special photo booth and will adjust the service costs for people affected by Rowe's arrest.
