After collecting more than 9.9 million pounds of expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs in 15 previous events over the past eight years, the Drug Enforcement Administration hopes to reach a total of 10 million pounds collected at following the Take Back event of the fall of 2018.
The DEA and its national, tribal and community partners will hold Saturday for the 16th National Day of Prescription Drug Collection across the country. The service is free and anonymous.
