The director Bob Kushell returned from the comedy CBS "Fam" for "inappropriate language" – Variety

Bob Kushell, co-host of the comedy "Fam", aired during the mid-season of CBS, was fired for using inappropriate language in the workplace, Variety has learned.

Corinne Kingsbury, the creator of the series, will now be the only host of the sitcom.

The representatives of CAS refused to comment.

"Fam" stars Nina Dobrev, Tone Bell and Odessa Adlon in a family comedy that tells the story of a woman who is looking to lead a perfect life with her fiancé's family.

Kushell's quick dismissal reflects the increased sensitivity of the entertainment industry to allegations of harassment and sexual misconduct in the workplace. The details around Kushell's shots are still unclear. CBS has not yet set release date for multicam comedy.

Many showrunners and other creatives have been screened out during the past year in the context of the #MeToo movement. Networks and studios are concerned about liability issues if they discover tolerant behavior leading to harassment or hostility that has been neglected in the past, especially for featured performers.

TVLine was the first to announce the release of Kushell.
