There seems to be a trend here: the Dodgers are again in the lead in the wild NL West. They beat their main rival in the playoffs, the Colorado Rockies, by a score of 8-2 to take a half-game lead.

If you want to live and die with the Pennant-Chase baseball every night, the NL West is the perfect place to do it. Monday night, things were pretty easy for the Dodgers, who scored two goals in the first inning, four in the third inning and two in the fourth inning. From there, they settled for the 8-2 win. The Dodgers have earned seven unmarked heats from Hyun-Jin Ryu, a good time for one of his best outings of the season.
The Rockies and Dodgers have two more home games this week. If the Dodgers can win two more wins, this could be a big statement for the last two weeks of the season. If both teams continue to do what they do, by exchanging wins and defeats, then we could have a new team in first place on Tuesday night. You know, models and others.
