Queen Elizabeth II hosted the dinner of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands. Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall were also present for the banquet of 150 guests.

Kate also donned one of the most beloved tiaras of the latest Princess Diana – the tiara of the lover's knot – created by Queen Elizabeth's grandmother, Queen Mary, in 1913, and was a gift given to Diana on her wedding day. The Duchess of Cambridge also wore earrings with Diana's favorite pearls and diamonds, Collingwood, and a beautiful necklace borrowed from Queen Elizabeth's pearl and diamond collection. The necklace, which also features pearls and diamonds, was a gift from King Frederick to Queen Alexandra if Denmark had been passed on to the Queen Mother and figured in the monarch's extensive jewelry collection.
The Queen stunned in a white dress, the girls of Britain and Ireland Tiara and the brooch Cullinan III and IV, while the Duchess of Cornwall wore her favorite Greville tiara and a silver dress.
The Queen has been dubbed the "most fearless Bond Girl of all time – with great panache" by the King of the Netherlands, in reference to her appearance alongside Daniel Craig at the London Olympics in London. 2012 in which she mounted video.
