Netflix took on Twitter on July 11 to announce a new animated series, The Dragon Prince due out in September, according to a report Deadline . Giant teamed up with Aaron Ehasz, the chief writer for Avatar: The Last Airbenders an animated series about four belligerent nations, which ran for three seasons on Nickelodeon.
The Dragon Prince is the story of two human princes who "forge an unlikely bond" with the elf sent to assassinate them and embark on an epic quest to bring peace to both lands in conflict, Netflix tweeted on his account @seewhatsnext.

Ehasz created fantastic animation with Justin Richmond, director of the game, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. Ehasz has already written several episodes for the animated sitcom Futurama directed by Matt Groening.
Netflix has already aired adventure stories like Voltron: Legendary Defender and Trollhunters and is now preparing for the Fantastic Groening Series Disenchantment . It will premiere on August 17.
Giancarlo Volpe, executive producer of The Dragon Prince Ehasz and Richmond will give a preview of the show at Comic-Con San Diego on July 21, the report Deadline said . Volpe made several episodes of Avatar: The Last Airbenders and Star Wars: The War of the Clones
