The employees of Dunkin & # 39; Donuts have just been involved in another shameful incident. This one could be the worst

There was the Cincinnati Dunkin – who wrote this message on the drink cup of a homeless client:

Stop & # 39; Hangin & # 39; in front of [sic] of the shop. If you have a full time job! –management.

Now comes the story of a Syracuse Dunkin 'whose employees have enjoyed outrageous indignity towards another homeless person.

According to Syracuse.com, Jeremy Dufresne had gone to a Dunkin to recharge his phone on Sunday night so he could call his mother. And, he admits freely, to enjoy a little heat.

Instead, a Dunkin employee approached and threw a decanter of water over his head. We hear others laugh at this display of extreme cruelty.

This not only shows the incident itself, but a Dunkin employee's asking Dufresne to stop sleeping at the restaurant.

I asked Dunkin's Donuts for his comment.

The company referred me to Kimberly Wolak, Dunkin franchisee and Wolak Group's chief operating officer. She offered me this statement:

Employees involved in the incident have been fired and we will contact the individual from the video to excuse us for this negative experience.

Nevertheless, Wolak now seems aware of the seriousness of the incident. She says:

We also intend to work with local advocates to ensure that our employees are better informed about how to engage with homeless people and refer them to the community for appropriate assistance.

Some might wonder why, especially after the Cincinnati incident, Dunkin's Donuts had not yet informed his staff on how to treat homeless people with decency and compassion.

It's not like Dufresne was a problem.

Decency and compassion are not really necessary right now, I suppose.

For its part, Breazeale created a GoFundMe for Dufresne, in order to get him at least $ 150. Donations currently amount to nearly $ 2,500.

There still seems to be some kindness in the world.
