Families of Samuel Benton "Ben" Selecman, Alan Jackson's son-in-law, ask for emotional support after his unexpected death at 28.
In a statement released Thursday on the country's superstar website, the Jackson and Selecman families said they "ask – and enjoy – prayers during this difficult time."
Selecman, who married Jackson's eldest daughter Mattie last October, died Wednesday in West Palm Beach, Florida, after suffering "severe traumatic head injuries during a fall," the statement said.
