Elina, a Girl Guides Canada Brownies program member, unloaded the 30 boxes of biscuits at $ 5 each in about 45 minutes, according to her father, Seann Childs.

Childs says that he had the idea a day or two before legalization.

"We were going to sell them in the neighborhood and it has always been a bit slow," he said. "Elina was bitten by a dog once."

"She did a fantastic job and was very polite and everyone was with her," he added.

Childs added that he had taken advantage of this experience to teach legalization to his daughter.

"We discussed what it was and what it meant for those who want to use it and those who do not want to use it," he said.

Childs said that Elina was suffering from cystic fibrosis and that the Brownies program was important to keep her active.
