The first Spider-Man DLC is now available

After much teasing throughout the main campaign mode for additional content and a trailer for the Black Cat character, Insomniac Games' first major DLC pack for Marvel's Spider-Man is now available for PlayStation 4.

PlayStation blog manager Ryan Smith of Insomniac Games revealed that the first City that never sleeps The DLC pack, called The Heist, is currently available. He adds a brand new chapter to Marvel's Spider-Man this adds new missions, new enemies, all new combinations that you can unlock and the story of Black Cat that picks up where she stopped in the main campaign.

It begins with a museum investigation, then a transition between Spider-Man and Mary Jane, who work together to find and stop Felicia Hardy, the black cat. This includes the long chase we've seen since the trailer where Spider-Man and Black Cat are seen running, jumping and swinging over the rooftops and underground transportation hubs of New York City.

The new content will also equip players with the necessary means to unlock three new combinations for Spider-Man, including one of the original concepts that artist Gabriele Dell & Otto designed for Insomniac Games in the form of elastic combination. The costume looks awesome. This is very similar to the new costume introduced by Insomniac Games at the beginning of the game, but instead of having fabric parts, it is metallic and shiny, giving Spider-Man an armored look.

New trophies have also been added to the game for some of the new challenges available, as well as all the new comments from the fictional in-game podcast called "Just The Facts" starring J. Jonah Jameson. The challenges added to the game revolve around a fictional game show in which Spider-Man attempts to complete obstacle courses spread across Manhattan.

The Heist DLC is available now for $ 9.99, including the Black Cat plot. Otherwise, you can access all episodes within The city that never sleeps buying the season pass for $ 24.99. For those who have already purchased the luxury digital edition or the luxury physical packs of Marvel's Spider-Manyou will automatically have access to the content and the three chapters that accompany it.

Critics and gamers love the game up to now, and Insomniac has managed to avoid any controversy with the game, unlike games like Shadow of the Tomb Raider with the bombardment of price reduction criticisms or Black Ops 4 with the hertz server problem. Insomniac has managed to stay out of the drama and enjoy high sales and tons of positive feedback. Of course, even though Insomniac has managed to avoid any drama, some of the people for whom the game was created have not been so lucky.
