Most of us will never go into space, but at least we have videos that show us what it is like to touch the void.
New images of the International Space Station in ultra-high definition 8K illustrate a hurricane, the moon and even scientific experiments in a new light.
The video was captured by Helium 8K's RED camera and marks the first time that 8K images have been captured from the space station, according to NASA.
"This new sequence presents the story of manned spaceflight with more detail than ever before," said Dylan Mathis, of NASA, in a statement.
"The world of camera technology continues to grow, and seeing our planet in high fidelity is always welcome, and we are excited to see what images will generate in the future."
