The former Clemson HQ, Kelly Bryant, on an official visit to Arkansas

Former Clemson quarterback Kelly Bryant has added an SEC school to his list of official visits.

Bryant, who lost in a quarterback competition against Trevor Lawrence earlier this season, is heading to North Carolina this weekend.

Bryant told Rivals.com that he would be going to Arkansas when the Razorbacks would host Tulsa on October 20th.

"I will make my first official visit to Arkansas," Bryant told Rivals.com. "I'm excited to travel to Fayetteville and see all that Arkansas has to offer."

According to the report, Arkansas head coach Chad Morris was Clemson's offensive coordinator when Bryant enlisted with the Tigers as a high school rookie.

Rivals reports that Bryant is also planning to travel to Louisville and Missouri.

Earlier in the season, Bryant thought Auburn would have been targeted.

A day after third place, Clemson named real freshman Trevor Lawrence as starting for Saturday's game against Syracuse. Bryant announced that he was going to be transferred.

Bryant led Clemson to a 12-2 record and a spot at the Sugar Bowl last season. In four games this season, he's 39-64 for 461 yards and two touchdowns with an interception, in addition to 130 yards and two touchdowns.

"Obviously, saddened and disappointed to have chosen to leave the team, but I have absolutely nothing wrong with Kelly Bryant," Swinney said during the transfer week. . "He is one of the best young people I know, and although I do not think it was a good decision, I certainly respect him."
