When Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, arrived at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday, she seemed to be coming out of a fairy tale – especially of Disney's "Cinderella".
Former Kate Middleton attended a banquet hosted by the King and Queen of the Netherlands at the palace wearing a gorgeous mermaid siren blue dress Alexander McQueen. She styled the look with a diadem that once belonged to Princess Diana.
The whole duchess conjured memories of Cinderella at the slippery ball on the dance floor with Prince Charming in the animated Disney classic in 1950. It only needed glass slippers!
Kate's own prince – her husband William, the Duke of Cambridge – also attended the gala, along with his father, Charles, Prince of Wales, and his wife, Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall.
Hoping that Kate's fairytale evening ends happy forever!
