Joseph Randle, former Dallas Cowboys running back, is suspected of raping Wichita after his arrest on Friday morning according to Sedgwick County's online offender records.
Randle, who last played with the Cowboys in October 2015, has been arrested several times in recent years:
– In October 2014, he was arrested for stealing from the storefront after attempting to steal underwear and cologne in a Texas department store. In July 2015, he pled guilty to theft for criminal offenses and received 180 days of probation.
– In February 2015, Randle was arrested for possession of marijuana after the police responded to a call for domestic violence in the hotel room where he resided with his child's mother. The Wichita City Prosecutor's Office announced three months later that he was abandoning the charge, citing a lack of evidence.
– In November 2015, Randle was arrested after being found violent playing blackjack at a Kansas casino. He was charged with two counts of disorderly conduct, a criminal trespassing charge and a chief of resistance to arrest.
– In February 2016, Randle was arrested for speeding in a school district in Irving, Texas. Police noticed that there was a warrant for arrest due to an unpaid ticket in Kansas and he was arrested.
– Later in February 2016, Randle was arrested in Wichita on three charges of possession of drugs, possession of drugs and criminal damage after attempting to hit three people with his car before driving them into a house. He spent nine days in jail before posting a bond, but he did not show up on the date of the hearing. When a policeman arrived at his home with a warrant for arrest, Randle came out of the back of his house and headed the police before surrendering.
– In February 2017, Randle was charged with a battery charge aggravated by a crime involving an incident with another inmate from Sedgwick County Jail.
Before his clashes with the law, Randle was considered a promising NFL talent. He averaged 6.7 yards per run while spotting DeMarco Murray in the Cowboys battlefield in 2014 and started the 2015 season as the Dallas No. 1 after Murray's free agent start.
