A little known French rapper is under investigation for inciting racial hatred after the release of a song and a video clip calling for the hanging of whites.

Right-wing politicians quickly joined the condemnation with Gilbert Collard, a member of the far-right National Rally party (formerly the National Front), calling on the government to "react immediately against this unbearable hatred".
Bruno Retailleau, leader of the right-wing group Republicans in the Senate, called the song "intolerable".
"One can not say words because it is an incitement to racial hatred and a provocation to crime!" he added.
Government spokesman Benjamin Griveaux said he condemned Nick Conrad's "odious and disgusting words" with "utmost firmness".
He also called on those who broadcast the song to "react as quickly as possible".
His words were echoed by Interior Minister Gerard Collomb, who said the words were "totally unacceptable".
