Meghan Markle's brother and her future sister-in-law were involved in another drama following their booz-up altercation earlier this year.

According to the Daily Mail, Thomas Markle Jr.'s fiancée, Darlene Blount, was arrested on Friday. She was charged with fourth degree aggression. A member of Josephine County Jail told the publication that she had been released on Saturday.

There are few details about this meeting. According to one source, "Last night there was a call for domestic violence at Thomas Markle [Jr] and Darlene Blount, Darlene was arrested for assault."

This was not the first time the couple had such a conflict. Earlier this year, just minutes from midnight on New Year's Day, Blount was also arrested and charged with fourth degree assault after her altercation with Thomas. She spent 30 hours in the Josephine Sherrif County Department.

In the transcript of the 911 call that Blount made during their altercation, she claimed that Thomas was acting strangely. Markle's half-brother allegedly accused her of being with another man. When asked if he was trying to hurt her or kill her, she simply said that he was "mentally violent". At that time, she said that she was more concerned about her safety than with her.

"Just mentally, but I'm more afraid for his own safety right now (inaudible) really [expletive] weird for me," said Blount. "I do not know what to do."

Thomas first said that Blunt started "to hit me in the face with his firsts." However, he later changed his statement and said that his injuries were self-inflicted. He admitted to having said a few words of swear words and that his fiancée called the police and was eventually arrested.

"I could have said that Darlene beat me," explained Thomas. "She was arrested for domestic violence, it was a great confusion."

After Blount and Thomas' New Year's fight, the Duchess's brother spoke and blamed the royal prince and the royal novel Markle for the unwanted attention that they have received. According to him, the events of their lives were amplified because of their ties to the Duchess of Sussex

"It was not easy: Meghan's relationship with Prince Harry brought to light our family" said Thomas. "It does not help when you have problems and your sister is betrothed to royalty, which adds a whole new level of scrutiny."
