Tuesday night, at the four corners of the Giants' locker room, players threw shower towels after training in the laundry bins.

"I really think it's disrespectful to the guys in the locker room," said coach Pat Shurmur. "It's the ultimate team sport and the teams have ways to handle things."
The actions speak louder than the words, however, and the Giants' actions include the exchange of two defensive starters – the former first-round half-corner of the first round, Eli Apple and All-Pro nose tackle Damon Harrison – against choices.

"Honestly, I think it's disrespectful to our players, we do not play any games, we just think of throwing it in the trash, we fight every week, guys play for their family, kids, and they're disrespectful when we hear someone say we're tanking or something like that. "
