The Golden State Warriors first plunged into the New York Knicks, surpassing them 47-16 in the fourth quarter, en route to a 28-point win. Then they immersed themselves in pop star Fergie via social media.
Why Fergie?
All this stems from the February NBA star game, where the winner of eight Grammy Awards sang a stylized – and highly criticized – version of the national anthem. Warrior striker Draymond Green was seen laughing during the show and the GIF's reaction quickly spread to social media.
Fergie published the following day a statement in which she admitted that her performance "did not sound the desired tone".
This moment was simply a reflection after the third season of the Warriors Championship in four years. Until Thursday, actor Josh Duhamel, Fergie's ex-husband, told Kristine Leahy of FS1 that he believed Green had to apologize to Fergie, saying: "I just thought that if he had been a real man, he would have at least called her and said, "Look, I'm sorry for causing all this."

According to the reaction of the Warriors' dressing room on Friday night, there does not seem to be an apology.
The video, posted by forward Alfonzo McKinnie of Warriors Reserve, shows the team listening to a viral remix of the anthem Fergie released a few days after the All-Star game. We can see Green in the video dancing with other Golden State players, including Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry and DeMarcus Cousins - who were ejected from Friday's game without playing a single minute.
