EXCLUSIVE

Kelly machine gunthe bodyguards beat the bloody hell of an actor who called the rapper on the vendetta with Eminem … TMZ has learned.

The violence began late Friday night in Atlanta … the cops say that MGK and his crew were in a bar-restaurant when the actor named Gabriel "G-Rod" Rodriguez went to him with his phone and went out and started recording. In the video, obtained by TMZ, you see the point G-Rod on MGK and you say: "I'll say it because it must be said, you're a cat to go with family!" G-Rod tells us that he was particularly upset because he is a husband and father of three children.

G-Rod was pissed off at Kelly for his beef with Eminem – who started when Kelly said her then teenage daughter, Hailie, is hot.

In the video, MGK seems to push G-Rod and turn off the phone. The video stops there, but G-Rod says that MGK's bodyguards entered and that, as he says, MGK was suddenly hard and began to challenge him. G-Rod claims that Kelly pushed him. He says the bar manager immediately sided with the celebrity and expelled G-Rod.

G-Rod says that 2 hours later he was heading to a Hampton's Inn – across the street from the bar – when he noticed that MGK and his crew were hanging outside their tour bus. When they started barking, an Atlanta police officer stepped in to calm things down, but G-Rod said that MGK was gone … calling the policeman "Pussy" and "Pig".

G-Rod says that the policeman did nothing to answer – which annoyed G-Rod. He told us if a black man or a Latino said that to a policeman … they were immediately accused or worse.

G-Rod says that he walked into the hotel lobby and that MGK continued to make him mouth … with all his bodyguards standing around him. G-Rod, who is a big guy, says he told them that they would fight each one – one at a time – if they wanted to fight. Instead, he says the bodyguards all jumped on him immediately.

According to the cops, who saw a video surveillance, a guardhouse slammed G-Rod and three others started to hit him in the face. G-Rod – who had roles in "Ozark", "Power" and "NCIS: New Orleans" – says that MGK was not involved at that time, he just let his bodyguards become physical.

G-Rod tells TMZ that he has already hired a lawyer and intends to file a lawsuit against MGK. However, he adds, "I will drop the case if we sign waivers and weapons."

Police investigate and G-Rod is in an emergency room to seek treatment for serious facial injuries.

We have contacted the representative of MGK … so far, no answer.
