The man who faces a violent reaction for wearing a shirt representing a Confederate flag and a noose during the vote in Mississippi was fired from the Regional One Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

According to officials from Region 1, the man was a hospital employee, but he was fired Thursday as a result of an internal investigation.

The shirt worn by the man – WHBQ did not identify it because he did not commit a crime – represented a Confederate rebel flag with a noose hanging on top, with the description "Mississippi Justice".

Regional One issued the following statement regarding the dismissal of the man:
"Regional One Health is committed to creating a safe, comfortable and comfortable work environment for our patients, guests, employees and medical staff. All allegations of inappropriate behavior and breach of trust involving employees are reviewed and reviewed. We take this process seriously and committed to following all the steps necessary to verify the truth.
"On November 7, 2018, we learned about an online social media photo of an individual identified online as an employee of Regional One Health." "This includes promoting a safe and secure working and care environment for all, and behavior that is contrary to these principles is unacceptable and will not be tolerated."

Officials from DeSoto County, Mississippi, confirmed that the man had not broken any laws by wearing the controversial sweater at the polls.
However, he is facing a violent reaction from the south-central community.
The NAACP Jackson Branch told WHBQ that it was aware of the situation and that its DeSoto County branch was reviewing the situation further.
"It's a sad time when people still have that mentality," said Clarence Walker, a resident.
DeSoto County Election Commissioner Paul Beall told the WHBQ that he had been contacted about the photo by dozens of people.

Beall stated that the man in the photo was an unidentified voter and that he was assisted by an election officer on a new machine designed for people with disabilities.
However, a law prohibits "distributing campaign publications" or wearing a shirt bearing the name of the active candidate within 150 feet of the polling place.
Officials no longer investigate the incident.
Although many Mid-South people have said that laws should change only in this photo.
"There is no reason to fear the person next to you," Walker said.
