Despite being in the the Dangerous path of forest fires in California, the mansion presented in the popular ABC show "The Bachelor" has escaped destruction, confirmed USA TODAY.
Journalist Chris Woodyard visited the mansion on Saturday, tweeting an image from the house, which serves as a backdrop to "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" since 2007.
Each season of reality shows begins with the entry of candidates who enter the house, which serves as a backdrop for the first weeks. The front of the house has a long driveway in which the limousines stop to free competitors eager to try to make a good impression on the star.
The house is located along a major thoroughfare in the blackened mountains. The road is dotted with utility poles and broken lines. Police monitored the property to prevent looting. The area is subject to a strict eviction order.
The house seemed to have been spared by a tiled roof and a masonry wall that separated it from a house 100 feet away that burned to the ground.

The news of the manor's survival comes after franchise creator Mike Fleiss tweeted Friday "Pray for Malibu and the Bachelor's Mansion" with a photo of the flames and smoke burning the area around the royal home.
ABC reality TV chef Rob Mills retweeted the photos, adding, "Yes, TheThe Bachelor is in danger."
The Agoura Hills mansion was on the way to the 14,000-acre Woolsey fire that spread to the area and to Malibu on Friday, causing residents such as Kim Kardashian and Lady Gaga have to flee because of their mandatory evacuation.
