An Instagram model with 2.7 million followers was shot dead Thursday in Baghdad, Iraq.
Tara Fares, 22, from Erbil, was shot dead while she was in a car in the capital of the country by gunmen on motorbikes, El País reported.
The Iraqi Interior Ministry announced that it had launched "an urgent investigation to find out the circumstances of Fares's death."

Fares became famous after being a finalist of a beauty contest in 2014.
