The jacket and umbrella suggested as wet weather moves through three states

Sunday may look more like October than in early September, as wet, cool weather moves into the tri-state region.

The five boroughs, Westchester and Fairfield counties, are likely to experience light rains throughout the day. Raphael Miranda from Storm Team 4 recommends that you pack a jacket and an umbrella if you leave the house.

A coastal flood warning was issued at 8 pm until midnight in southern Queens and southern Nassau County.

According to the Storm Team 4, it could rain torrential rains on Sunday. It will probably be a cold and wet day, with a maximum of 66 and a minimum of 60 tonight.

Monday should be cloudy and mild, with morning rains that will lead to isolated downpours and a possible afternoon storm, says Storm's Team 4.

All the rain tonight will be caused by the remnants of Tropical Storm Gordon, Miranda said.

Tropical storm Florence, meanwhile, turned into a hurricane Sunday on its way to the east coast of the United States.
