Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey is likely to be one of the many players whose names will unexpectedly appear in commercial negotiations during the off-season.
Ramsey is slowly but surely compelling the Jaguars to consider a blockbuster trade this season, League sources told ESPN.

Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey, who still has a contract year, said he "kept saying I wanted to be part of a team all my career".

Big Ben is not about to draw verbal blows on Ramsey, but he will not be afraid to shoot a few balls like Ramsey in their return match against the Jaguars.

A league source said he was "absolutely" convinced that the Jaguars would agree to bargain Ramsey, while an NFL general manager said he would not be surprised that this the way the Jaguars would choose.
Jacksonville reacted Sunday to this information, saying the team did not plan to exchange Ramsey.
"The Jaguars have no intention of negotiating CB Jalen Ramsey," said the team in a statement. "There is no truth in this rumor."
Much of the review was done by Ramsey, who tweeted last week: "When I'm gone from here, you've missed me all."
When I left here, you missed me all. I'm not even trippin lol

Ramsey spoke to the tweet on Thursday, saying it was aimed at "fake fans" who have not joined the Jaguars, which have been among the biggest disappointments in the NFL this season. The Jaguars scored 10-6, won AFC South and reached the conference league match last season.
Despite his 3-1 start this season, Jacksonville (3-6) remains last in the South AFC with a five-game losing streak.
Ramsey pointed out Thursday that he wanted to "play for a team my entire career," but his behavior has drawn the attention of his team, sources said. The declared cornerback has made the headlines several times in recent years because of his rave reviews – both about himself and the opposing players.
As unthinkable as trading a player of Ramsey's caliber would be, keep in mind that the Giants were planning to exchange Odell Beckham Jr. the last offseason season before deciding to sign the star receiver to a long-term contract.
Ramsey has the next season and a fifth year option remaining on his contract with the Jaguars, who will either have to make him the highest paid cornerback of the game, or make the decision to leave him.
Michael DiRocco of ESPN contributed to this report.
