The Larkspur ferry docked at the Ferry Building but no injuries were reported

A Larkspur ferry crashed on the San Francisco Ferry Building wharf on Friday afternoon, causing frightened spectators to run and scream while holding their mobile phones to take a video, but leaving passengers and crew free.

Fifty-three passengers were aboard Mr. S. Priya Clemens, spokesman for the Golden Gate Bridge Highway and the Transportation District, which operates the ferry, Priya Clemens said when he arrived in San Francisco shortly before 2 pm.

"It seems like there have been mechanical difficulties," said Clemens, describing the moment when the big blue and white ship made a nose towards the building before turning abruptly toward the dock. The video posted on Twitter shows passersby running along the rain-covered jetty behind the building, while others bend down to see better.

No major injuries have been reported, Clemens said. One of the boat workers had a bruise on the hip and a passenger complained of having back pain but refused to see a doctor. Although the boat and the dock were damaged, the incident "was not as bad as it could have been," said Clemens, pointing out that the day after Thanksgiving, the ferry service had become lighter.

Normally, Mr. S. San Francisco is more crowded – he is able to hold 750 people.

At 18 hours. the boat was still sitting at the dock with what appeared to be two nicks at her bow.

The crew members were disembarked from the ferry after the accident to be interrogated and tested for the drug. The Coast Guard is investigating the cause of the accident. We still do not know how it will affect the ferry service on Monday.
