Lil Wayne's scene at Atlanta's A3C Music Festival was forced to end prematurely Sunday (Oct. 8), after the panic and confusion that erupted in the crowd. The fans were evacuated after the authorities reacted to various reports of possible gunfire or massive fighting.

The video shows fans quickly leaving Lil Wayne's board. Many seem to be running, while others are making assumptions about what has happened.

According to first reports of festival-goers on Twitter, a shoot would have taken place during the concert. According to the Atlanta Police Department, someone would have screamed that he had heard gunshots, sowing panic among the crowd. Twelve people were reportedly treated for minor injuries, but the police were not able to confirm a shootout.

The organizers of the A3C Festival also released a statement via Twitter, addressing Lil Wayne's short film. Although some members of the crowd later said that the incident was a simple fight, A3C said it was still reviewing the situation. "We continue to collect information to determine exactly what has happened and will provide follow-up information as soon as we know more," the release said.

Lil Wayne's was to appear at A3C to sing songs from his latest project, Tha Carter VThe album, which comes after almost four years of legal obstacles and legal delays, would have hit the number one American Billboard 200, with 480,000 equivalent album sales the first week.
