DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) – The Mega Millions jackpot is now $ 900 million.
Lottery officials lifted the estimated price on Wednesday, less than a day after another draw without a winner, bringing the prize to $ 868 million.
Officials say that no tickets matched the six numbers to claim the Mega Millions prize Tuesday night. The numbers were 3, 45, 49, 61, 69 and Mega Ball 9.
The next draw will take place on Friday. The estimated jackpot of this draw would be the second-largest lottery lottery in US history.
The biggest jackpot in the lottery was a $ 1.6 billion Powerball prize won in January 2016.
The jackpot has been rising since July, when some office workers in California earned $ 543 million.
The chances of winning the jackpot are not good, at one in 302.5 million.
