The Mets captain was activated Tuesday and is about to start his last game Saturday against the Miami Marlins. Mets manager Mickey Callaway plans to use Wright as a hitter in the Atlanta Braves series from Tuesday.

Wright was with the team throughout the trip and continued to take pawns and hit the cage. He could not hit the field.
This week will be moving for him and his teammates as Wright is one of the greatest players in franchise history and is respected by all.
"It's great (to have it here)," Callaway said. "It's the captain and the guys did the same. He was more present in September and we played better. I do not know if it's because of him but his presence is always welcome and always positive. "
