UFC 230 feels like a cobbled together snakebit mess… except that it’s actually still a really good card. Even with a title fight only made a month ago – and featuring a fighter who, when last asked, claimed he was nowhere near ready for contention – and even with a litany of injuries and changes, this is still a rock solid PPV offering. Watching Cormier fight is always good value, and the potential for Lewis to pull off the impossible is at least worth seeing. Otherwise a run of MW division relevant match-ups should make for a lot of story lines on the other side.
