Jamie Schmidt, 53, was a mother of three and married to her high school sweetheart. Gregg Schmidt, her husband, shared this message below on Facebook

"My friends, I had my own mother of dragons, but she was kidnapped today. I still do not know how to feel. I know one thing for sure. Embrace your friends and family and tell them that you love them whenever you have the opportunity. I could not say goodbye and it hurts me a lot. She was my angel, my partner, my best friend and the love of my life. I'm sorry if you've never heard it singing recently because it gave me chills. I will probably not spend much time on Facebook, but know that I love you all in one way or another. "

Schmidt was a director of St. Louis Community College in Wildwood.

A man walked Monday inside Catholic Supply in western St. Louis County and killed Schmidt. The man is still on the run. He also sexually assaulted two other women in the store. Anyone with information should contact the St. Louis County Police Department at 636-529-8210 to speak to the investigators.

People showed their support by placing flowers and bringing cards to Catholic Supply.

Saint Anthony of Padua High Ridge will hold a Mass at 6:30 pm. Tuesday.
