Guns N 'Roses had to end his show in Abu Dhabi Sunday, after singer Axl Rose would have become too sick to perform. However, despite his serious illness, the singer was able to make himself heard and play long before having to stop.
In a video that was taken from the concert at Du Arena, Rose goes on stage and immediately listens to the crowd.
"They give me infusions and a series of injections, because I'm sick today, I've been vomiting since five," Rose told the crowd. "So, instead of canceling, I'll do the best show we can do for you!"
According to Billboard, Rose was able to sustain herself for about 20 songs on a planned set of 28 songs. However, the singer of "Sweet Child O'Mine" ends up playing and the group cuts short.
The representatives of Rose and the group did not immediately respond to Fox News's request for comment.
"Abu Dhabi, you were great tonight!", The Slash guitarist wrote on Twitter After the show "Axl was seriously ill. But you have all been extremely supportive. Thanks for that. We'll see you next time! Cheers!!"
Bassist Duff McKagan did not mince words expressing his admiration for the talent of his concert mate despite his illness.
"Thank you Abu Dhabi! @axlrose did a hell of a miracle … the man was more than sick, and managed something I've never seen in 40 years that I play. You have all passed. Until next time, "he wrote on Twitter.
The group is currently on its "Not in This Lifetime" tour, which is expected to end next month with dates in Hawaii. So far, nothing indicates if Rose's disease will affect the rest of the tour.
