The number of cases of hepatitis A in Nashville reaches 142, level of health. urge people to get vaccinated | New

Since December, 142 confirmed cases of hepatitis A have been confirmed in Nashville, according to officials from the public health department of the metropolitan area.

The authorities urge drug addicts, men who have sexual contact with other men and the homeless to be vaccinated.

"The Ministry of Health and our community partners have vaccinated nearly 7,000 people in Nashville since the announcement of the outbreak in late May."

According to the health department, immunization initiatives will continue "with the aim of ending the epidemic". They work with organizations that serve the homeless, the LGBTQ community, work with the Davidson County Sheriff's Office to vaccinate inmates and strive to help drug users.
