The OKC astronomy club is holding a moon-watching ceremony on Saturday at Wheeler Park

The Oklahoma City Astronomy Club will hold a free public session on the moon on Saturday to celebrate the Observe the Moon International Night.

Club members will have telescopes and other screens installed from 7pm to 10pm. next to the Ferris wheel at Wheeler Park, 1701 S Western.

The moon will be illuminated 87% and 247,000 miles from Earth that night. In addition, Saturn, Mars, Uranus and Neptune will be visible throughout the evening.
