Just in time for her Thanksgiving parade, Macy's discovered a Chrissy Teigen tweet from Thanksgiving 2014 in which she dismissed the idea of watching the parade.
Why? Because Teigen's husband, singer John Legend, participated in Macy's Thanksgiving day parade in New York City on Thursday morning. It was broadcast on NBC.
"I can not imagine being bored enough to watch a parade on TV," Teigen tweeted on November 27, 2014. In a tweet that said "#tbt", Macy took a screen shot of Teigen's tweet and with Legend's tweet earlier Thursday to promote his appearance at the parade.

Never should anyone be noticed – especially on the social networking platform – Legend saw the tweet and responded half an hour later, taking the moment.
"Hahahahaha perfect," says Legend succinctly.
Not to be outdone, Teigen responded to Legend's tweet saying, "Someone had to stay home and cook for our kids and our family."

Legend appeared on the runway to promote his new album, "A Legendary Christmas", which has just been released, and the next special Christmas show of the same name, which he and Teigen are organizing on NBC. Stevie Wonder, Kenan Thompson, Zach Galifianakis, Awkwafina, Derek Hough and others will appear in the special broadcast on November 28.
