HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – The northbound I-45 North lanes were closed early Monday after a fatal accident, the sheriff's office said.
The accident occurred around 3 am near Spring Stuebner. At 7 o'clock, all outbound routes were still blocked in the spring.

The investigation is still ongoing, but the Harris County Sheriff's Office said the driver of a Ford Mustang was heading south in northbound lanes when it was off. 39 is crushed on a vehicle with 18 wheels. The driver of the Mustang died on the scene. The driver of the truck was not injured.
