Giants owner John Mara is ready for wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to make more headlines on the field and stop the fire behind the mic.
"I think he has to play a little more and talk a little bit less," Mara said at the fall owners meeting of N.F.L. Tuesday.
Mara said the giants, aged 1 to 5, are embarrassed to be at the bottom of the N.F.C. East and N.F.L. ranking entering the week 7. Eli Manning, their 37-year-old quarterback, has been the subject of much criticism against the team.

Gettleman made several changes on Tuesday, adding wide receiver Bennie Fowler of the training team and placing Cody Latimer on the injured hamstring reserve.
