SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Breast cancer survivors and those currently battling cancer will be honored at the Stampede game Saturday night before the faceoff. The ice will be painted pink to raise breast cancer awareness.

The team will face Fargo Force at 7:05 pm Saturday at PREMIER center Denny Sanford. You can buy tickets for the game here.

There are a lot of special things going on that night for Pink in the Rink. The first 500 adults at the door will receive a free Stampede beanie. Players will also wear special pink sweaters. Fans can purchase raffle tickets during the game for a chance to win one of these jerseys. The winner will meet the player who wore the jersey won on the ice just after the match. Special t-shirts will even be available for purchase. All proceeds from the auction and t-shirts will go to the American Cancer Society.

Fans are encouraged to bring their skates on the ice with the players immediately after the match. A special moment during the first period is when fans can hold the panels that will be given to them. They can tell who they are paying tribute to, whether it is a person who is fighting breast cancer or who has died as a result of the disease.
