A professional wrestler in Mexico shocked the sports and entertainment community after breaking a concrete block on his opponent's head.

The Puerto Rican star, Cuervo (The Raven) was lucky not to have been killed in the fight, all captured in front of a camera, after Angel o Demonio (Angel or Demon) carried the block in the ring and, while Angel stood up, with a certain force, to his head.

The coup, during the Lucha Libre Boom show on November 19, held at the Lopez Mateos arena in Tlalnepantla, in northern Mexico, caused a potentially dangerous epidural hematoma, the AKA blood clot, which had to be removed by a surgical intervention.

It's the anger of the wrestling community, with WWE star Kurt Angle telling fans that he would like to spend time with the boy to show him what he thinks about his actions. A stern word, of course.

"Give me 10 seconds with that stupid MFer who threw the brick," he wrote on Twitter. "Should not be close to the company."

Fans applauded Kurt's message when they dissected the film, which revealed that Cuervo lay on the floor and was being treated by a medical team, with his blood spilled on the floor where he was hit.

The injured wrestler was taken to the hospital shortly thereafter and reportedly underwent successful surgery to remove the blood clot – after Angel immediately excused himself and was evacuated to the scene.

"It was an epidural hematoma and he had a broken skull," said the promoter of the series. "He underwent surgery to drain the clot. He is out of danger, in intensive care and responds satisfactorily. "

A post about the wrestler on Facebook said, when translated: "We're fine. We are informed that the operation that the Raven had was a success. The clot has been removed and is stable. '

According to Angel, in an interview after the match, he stated that he was targeting the back of his opponent, but "did not have the accuracy".

"I apologize to everyone because I am primarily a professional," he added.

Angel was reportedly suspended immediately and indefinitely by the Mexican Boxing and Wrestling Commission.
