The rapper and new mom Cardi B said that she loved motherhood so far, but she is a little upset that no one has warned of difficulties related to childbirth.
"I appreciate it's the best, it's like, oh my god," she said in an interview with "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Tuesday. "I should have taken you when I was a teenager, was that what I missed all my life? I love you."
"I need rest, but oh my god, like the happiness that my baby got, I could do it again and again," she added.
It's been about three months since Cardi B gave birth to her first child, a little girl named Kulture Kiari Cephus, and the hip-hop star said her body was still recovering from the process.
"It was totally more difficult [than I expected]. She broke my vagina, "said the rapper. "You know, why did not anyone tell you about these things? Nobody told me that they were going to sting my vagina.
Cardi B admitted that she had received warnings about potential difficulties in childbirth, but she added that nothing could prepare her for the reality.
"People just say," Oh, when you give birth, it'll hurt, "but no one tells you it looks like … your vagina …," she says.
Kimmel's live audience burst out laughing when the 26-year-old woman described her first experience in the delivery room.
"Nobody said that," Kimmel asked. "I was afraid to walk on a crack and break my mother's back."
