OMAHA, Neb. – Oregon starting pitcher Luke Heimlich unveiled the fifth round of the World Series final against Arkansas on Tuesday night as the Razorbacks triumphed 4-1 and earned a A national championship.
Heimlich started a four-yard walk with a withdrawal, gave up two consecutive singles and hit a pair of hitters before second-baseman Nick Madrigal mismanaged a ball on the ground to end the race for Heimlich.
"I let him escape by hand," said Heimlinch, "did not want me to control."
