GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) – A tie seemed strange to Kirk Cousins.
On one side, the quarterback of the Minnesota Vikings threw three touchdown passes in the fourth quarter to help his team get rid of a 20-7 deficit against the Green Bay Packers.
But three goals missed on the field, including two in overtime, by rookie Daniel Carlson. Cousins then managed to push Laquon Treadwell's hands at the end of the fourth quarter, intercepted by Ha Ha Clinton-Dix.
He added to a 29-29 tie on Sunday.
"I do not know what to feel after a tie. I do not know how to answer that, "said Cousins, who finished 35 of 48 for 425 yards. "It's a unique place and proud of the way the whole team … the way everyone stayed and fought."
If only the Vikings could convert one of these goals into points.
Carlson's 35 yards at the end of the overtime ended up at the height of the posts, as was his 49-yard kick in overtime. Carlson also missed 48 in the second quarter.
"It's disappointing when you have the opportunity to win the football game at the end and you get a tie. It's better than a loss, "said Vikings coach Mike Zimmer.
The result at Lambeau Field eclipsed the memorable performances of both quarters.
Green Bay star Aaron Rodgers played with a splint on his injured left knee and collected 281 yards and a 9-yard touchdown pass to Davante Adams.
But a poorly managed transfer with 5:17 in overtime cost the Packers a chance at another long distance attempt. Rodgers recovered the fumble in second and first place at 37, and he was sent back to third place to push Green Bay back to 47.
He was not happy either with the tie.
"Near one" L. "Does not feel good," said Rodgers.
Mason Crosby, the Packers kicker, tied a career record with five field goals, but his potential winner of 52 was largely relegated to the end of regulation time.
It was the second week in a row with a tie in the NFL after the Steelers and Browns played a draw in their opening game.

Rodgers played well considering his injury. He was sacked four times, although the protection was relatively resilient, especially at the start of the match. Although he does not have his typical mobility that allows him to save time for receivers, he has been able to move enough to avoid problems on occasion. The quarterback does not know if he could follow a similar practice plan before next week's game against the Washington Redskins, although he said he hoped to play every week. He does not know if the injury could persist all season.

Referee Tony Corrente said the call was not related to the new rule on wearing the helmet.
"He took the quarterback and drove it into the ground," Corrente told a pool reporter.

According to the NFL, this is the first time since 1973 that there have been two draws in the first two weeks of the season. The Lions-Packers match and the Eagles-Giants match ended in a draw in the second week of the same week. This is also the first time in league history that a match ended in a draw 29-29.
