The Santa Rosa Kaiser Campus is evacuated, Highway 101 closed

The entire North Kaiser Permanente Campus in Santa Rosa was evacuated Wednesday afternoon after a road accident involving an oxygen tanker truck. The ministry issued an emergency alert at 3:03 pm to avoid the 3925 Old Redwood Highway area, which is the site of the Kaiser North Campus, as well as the surrounding area. Authorities in the Santa Rosa Fire Department described the scene of the hazardous materials incident and said that police, firefighters, medical personnel and the California Highway Patrol had responded

. At 11 pm this campus was evacuated. Highway 101 was also closed

As of 3:30 pm no further evacuation was required, police said.
