Something nasty comes this way. The first images of Netflix Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is there and, you guessed it, it is cold. This is not the Sabrina, the teenager Witch of yesteryear
In the overview above, there is Sabrina (Kiernan Shipka) lock the lips with what looks like Harvey (Ross Lynch), so some things never change, but it is there that the similarities with the original series seem to stop. Rituals, scary horned creatures and a scary rendition of "Happy Birthday" fill the rest of the fast teaser.
Sabrina's birthday was still tied to her magic and it seems like it will not change. Netflix has already published a poster for Chilling Adventures of Sabrina tease this fact.
Besides Shipka and Lynch, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina stars Jaz Sinclair like Rosalind, Lucy Davis as Aunt Hilda, Miranda Otto as aunt Zelda, Michelle Gomez like Madam Satan, Chance Perdomo like Ambrose Spellman, Richard Coyle as Father Blackwood and Tati Gabrielle like Prudence.
The new series comes from the producers of Riverdale and Netflix describes it as "a dark history of transition to adulthood that deals with horror, occult and, of course, witchcraft".
The new series will arrive just in time for Halloween on Friday, October 26th on Netflix. Get your witch.
